Today’s challenge: getting back from #Bielefeld to #Lausanne.
ICE 845 is already so much delayed that I wouldn’t be able to catch the connection in Hanover. So I’ll take IC 2443 instead, which leaves Bielefeld 20 minutes earlier.
IC 2443 arrived in Hanover with+7, but as I had enough of a buffer, this wasn’t a problem. I’m now on my reserved seat in the ICE 75, which will hopefully take me all the way to Basel.
The train is packed because several other trains were canceled.

We arrived 10 minutes early in Frankfurt, which allowed me to quickly jump out and get a “bärenkater” porridge on the platform.
Arrived on time (!) in Basel SBB. IC 51 departs from platform 19, which is quite far from the eastern end of platform 5…
Approaching Neuchâtel, and battery-wise the #Tangara is holding up very well. I had to switch to wired headphones, because the wireless headphones had run out.
My biggest gripe with the Tangara is issue #132 https://codeberg.org/cool-tech-zone/tangara-fw/issues/132; I’m happy to see that there may be a fix incoming https://codeberg.org/cool-tech-zone/tangara-fw/pulls/295.
